On the morning of November 4, 2020, the Board of Presidents and the Board of Dean, Faculty of Civil Engineering (FCE) led by Dr. Truong Thi Hien – Vice President visited and worked at the headquarters of the Hoa Binh Construction Group.

On behalf of the company, there were the presence of General Director Mr. Le Viet Hieu, Deputy General Director Mr. Nguyen Tan Tho and other Directors and Department Heads. The thoughtful and professional reception as well as the spirit of cooperation that the Group has given to the University is a great motivation for the Faculty of Civil Engineering to make more efforts in teaching and fostering talented future civil engineers.

Hoa Binh Construction Group is one of the largest companies in the field of construction contractors in Vietnam. At the meeting, both delegations discussed the opportunities for potential cooperation and got agreements in some areas. Accordingly, the Group agrees to receive regular annual internships to work at the Company with a general remuneration policy in accordance with the Company's regulations for interns. Hoa Binh Group's Training Institute will support the University in teaching the subject of "Enterprise-Based Seminar’’, and will be in coordination with the Faculty to promote project-based teaching and learning methods. The Group will also support the Faculty in career orientation activities as well as accompany with us in some academic playgrounds which are organized for students.
 
The Faculty of Civil Engineering wants the Company to participate more deeply in training activities from enrollment process, training implementation, evaluation and recruitment of human resources in construction-related industries, supplying human resources for the corporation in construction activities.

The meeting will open up opportunities for a strong connection in the field of vocational education to contribute the improvement of the quality of human resources in the construction industry. In the coming time, cooperation activities between the University and Hoa Binh Construction Group will be actively and effectively deployed to bring benefits to both sides. The Faculty of Civil Engineering also invited the Board of Directors and the members of the Group to visit the University in the near future.
