On October 24, 2020, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, PhD. candidate Ho Le Huy Phuc had successful defensed his doctoral thesis "Development of novel meshless method for limit and shakedown analysis of structures and materials" at the university level.

The defense council includes famous Professors and Doctors from many universities in Vietnam. At the end of the session, the doctoral thesis presented by the PhD. candidate was approved by the council. The PhD. candidate Phuc has been published 4 ISI papers during studying PhD program at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. This results demonstrate for the graduate education quality of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education.
