SCHOLARSHIPS

“Thanh Muu” and “Uncle Mai Van Danh” Scholarships

I. “Thanh Muu” Scholarships –The Second Term
1. Awards: 6 awards per Term
2. Eligibility Criteria:
- Evaluation based on the scores of the National High School Exams 2020
- Newcomer (K20) Students who come from Phu Yen Province and are enrolling in HCMC University of Technology and Education.
- Priorities given to:
(1) students who are suffering from any difficult circumstances
(2) students who come from parentless or single-parent households
(3) disabled students
(4) and students who NOT received any social scholarships in 2020.

II. “Uncle Mai Van Danh” Scholarships
1. Awards: 10 awards at 1.000.000 VND per month for 12 months, and students with good performances will be considered for receiving the rewards in the next terms.
2. Eligibility criteria:
- Newcomer (K20) Students are enrolling in HCMC University of Technology and Education
- Priorities given to students:
(1) suffering from any difficult circumstances
(2) did not receive any social scholarships in 2020
(3) and actively participating in Union - Association activities.

III. Applications
1. Required forms and documents

- Admission letter (showing the admission scores to HCMUTE if possible)
- Certificates of Merits, Certificates of Rewards if possible
- Certificates of difficult circumstances, families under preferential treatment policy, poor households, and near poor households with local certifications/notarizations.
2. How to apply
- Deadline: 17:00, 20/20/2020 (Monday)
- All application forms and documents should be sent to the email: ngoandb@hcmute.edu.vn (Dang Ba Ngoan, lecturer). Note that: The scanned versions or pictures of hard-copy documents are acceptable.
- Time for presenting the awards: Award scholarships are expected to be presented to students in the Welcoming Newcomer Students Program on 30/10/2020.
