In order to support students who are studying full-time at the school, the HCMUTE announced the grant of subsidy scholarships to students with difficult circumstances (except for those who have been entitled to incentive policies and high GPA scholarships, the special incentive scholarships for difficult students or sponsorship scholarships (> 3 million / interest) in the semester 1 of the academic year 2020-2021).

1. Difficult scholarship: Each scholarship is worth 3,000,000 VND / student. Granted to students with difficult or near-poor families in the following cases:
- Family is a household with per capita income per month from 700,000 VND - 1,000,000 VND (in rural areas) or 900,000 VND - 1,300,000 VND (in urban areas).
- Students whose parents are orphaned, the rest have to work to generate income, taking care of more than 4 people.
- Students whose parents are terminally ill, need a lot of funding for long-term treatment.
2. Special difficult scholarship: Each scholarship is worth 6,000,000 VND / student. Issued to students with extremely difficult families or poor households in the following cases:
- Family with per capita income per month or less (in rural areas) or 900,000 or less (in urban areas).
- Students whose parents are orphans, the rest cannot work to generate income to care for their families.
- Students whose parents are both incurable and need a lot of long-term treatment.
- Family encountered major events leading to economic difficulties such as serious illness, accidents, natural disasters ...
3. Process of consideration: Each semester, the school will consider and grant a difficulty grant scholarship 1 time according to the following process:
- Students submit an application for consideration of a difficulty grant to the Faculty Office (Full name , student number, majors, BIDV account number, East Saigon branch (with the student's account), contact phone number, permanent address, specify the difficulty, the level of application for 3 million or 6 million, with proof of family background suitable for the proposed scholarship, certified by the locality), deadline 28/12/2020.
The school will hold a meeting between the school leaders and difficult students at 15:00 on December 30, 2020 at the Union cafeteria, the basement of the central building (Wednesday). This notice is disseminated to the units and students know to make.
