Loa Thanh Prize, for excellent capstone projects of students in majors of construction and architecture, organized by the Vietnam Construction Association, Vietnam Architects Association, Central Communist Youth Union Ho Chi Minh property and the Ministry of Construction, in order to motivate and encourage students to learn and love their career, encourage creative exploration, thereby discovering and honoring young talents in the field of architecture and construction.
This year, there are 18 schools across the country attended with a total of 177 projects in the two fields of civil engineering and architecture. The Faculty of Civil Engineering attended 9 projects in civil engineering and had won 2 prizes including:
- Student Le Minh Hung Vuong won second prize with the project "Hung Vuong Complex High-rise Apartment - Commercial and Service Area (Tower A)", guided by lecture Nguyen Tong
- Student Cao Danh Huyen Duc third prize with the project "Design project of Extradosed bridge with 1 wire plane", guided by lecturer Nguyen Duy Liem
In the coming years, The Faculty of Civil Engineering will have more students attending in the Loa Thanh prize in both fields of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
