FINAL ROUND OF GATE DESIGN CONTEST FOR HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION

The final round of "GATE DESIGN CONTEST FOR HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION" was held on 18/01/2024,

The contest is organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. HCMC aims to create a playground while finding a stand out idea for the university gate, which is the symbol of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. HCM.

The contest creates a healthy, useful and interesting theme for students to think creatively, exchange and learn, promote teamwork and presentation skills.

The task:

+ The design plan must be feasible and applicable, so that the project can be constructed in practice in the future.
+ Research and design location: At the main gate location (No. 1 Vo Van Ngan Street, Linh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc City)
+ Draw the current status based on the Autocad file provided by the Department of Architecture. Students need to research the actual statistical data and site analysis.

+ Present Layout on horizontal A1 paper size, maximum 02 sheets (video clip and model are optional)

+ Drawings & design ideas to highlight design ideas.

All participating teams did their best and had extremely attractive presentations. The final round ended successfully with the following results:
