The highly prestigious academic competition "The Future Civil Engineering 2025" (TFCE), organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FCE) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), has successfully concluded its 10th edition. This milestone celebrates a decade of growth, consistently attracting the best and brightest students from the fields of Civil Engineering and Architecture, from Central and Northern Vietnam all the way to the South, and significantly, including international participants.
This year's competition brought together 20 teams from 10 universities both domestically and internationally. This diverse lineup, spanning from Northern, Central, Southern, and Western Vietnam, fostered a rich environment for competition, cultural exchange, and the sharing of advanced professional skills.
TFCE is more than just a model-building contest; it is a holistic training ground that supports students from concept to reality and builds essential professional competence. From the Idea and Model Round, Practical Skills, and Obstacle Course to the Final Round, TFCE helps transform teams' blueprints into tangible structures, honing their construction skills and teamwork under pressure. Following that, the Technical Tour provides students with invaluable real-world exposure by visiting active construction sites, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical techniques and on-site realities.
This comprehensive structure ensures that participants develop not only deep technical knowledge but also crucial soft skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and, most importantly, the international communication skills vital for future global careers.
Esteemed Judging Panel - The Pinnacle of Academic Quality, composed of Associate Professors, PhDs, and leading industry experts in Civil Engineering and Architecture, alongside representatives from top corporations. Their objective, expert evaluation maintains the competition’s high academic standard and provides students with practical insights aligned with industry demands.
The Final Round was a thrilling showcase of wisdom, courage, and creativity, where the top 6 teams shone brightly.
